Retreat with Kogi Elder Mamo Senshina

Tuesday 4th August – Sunday 9th of August 2026

Transmissions, sharing and consultations

We are really excited to welcome Mamo Senshina, spiritual representative of the traditional Kogi people, accompanied by his disciple and translator Jassiel de Kunata. Representing Gonavindua, the ancestral Colombian territory of the Sierra Nevada de Santa Marta, in Colombia. Mamo comes to honour his duty of transmission, as "elder brother", to transmit the palabra antigua, ancient word of the origins, guardian of the knowledge that allows us to take care of life. Through his advice and teachings received from his grandfather and his elders, he delivers the seeds of knowledge so that we take time to observe how to make them grow.

A truly unique opportunity...

We will form a sacred gathering, creating a positive encounter live in us and around us for a long time to come. Mamo Senshina will present bushanduna, a creation that wants to give birth and support projects to take care of the mother earth and all its visible and invisible inhabitants.

Meeting Mamo Senshina, and through him the Kogis, means both discovering a different wisdom and being invited to explore the wisdom of one’s own roots, through the alliance of a worldview (cosmovision), a life experience and a culture.

Mamo Senshina’s transmissions attach great importance to fluidity. Our group will be a living entity and what each one of us brings will be something to feed the daily transmission. The term bunshanduna represents what it is to grow together, like a forest where each individual is a collective being.

We will take the time to sit down together. What we seek is unity. For this, we are searching for ways to interact in order to create alliances and grow together.

Team collaboration

What is the work of the mamos and how do they do it?

Mamos bring the harmonisation of energies between material and spiritual parts of life, in response to the repercussions that come from maintaining a certain modern lifestyle based on agricultural extraction, the plundering of raw materials, harming natural ecosystems and the devaluation of life in general. There is a global imbalance that directly affects all living beings on our planet, which is why the mamos work through pagamento, a practice that balances this generalised disorder.
