How do we belong again?

We are creating an inclusive space to reconnect with nature and each other, through hands-on learning. Our intention is to revive our land based culture and spirituality, so we will truly feel at home in the place we stand.

We need to learn the skills and knowledge to ensure a sustainable future of our community. We will provide a learning environment for mixed age groups and multigenerational learning. The school will be the process from which a village can emerge.

“Once, while visiting a San tribe in Namibia, I noticed that the villagers we met seemed so happy despitethe presence of an epidemic of disease, famine, and a drought. When asked about that observation, aleader of the village said, “My people are happy. We are happy because we belong. We belong to ourvillage community. And we belong to nature.”
